To back Mr Quinn up, Elvis did not write any songs. The version on your CD is most likely by an impersonator, or digitally created (less likely IMHO, but you never know).Įlvis did not write this song the Cd you've got might be called The Very Best Of Dwight Yoakam cause i had this guy singing Crazy Little Thing and he did sound abit like Elivs but Elvis did not write the song Freddie wrote Crazy Little Thing Called Love in the Bath if i'm not mistaken To clear up any confusion: Freddie Mercury wrote "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" in 1979. Ja sprosil bez podjebonov, a ti mudak, daze otvetitj normaljno ne mozes. Yury2 wrote: Serry, ti blja ohuenno umnij ja smotrju. Needless to say I nearly cried at the horrible notion. I heard a digitally created version of Frank Sinatra singing Crazy Little Thing Called Love in my local record shop the other day. I really don't know what is around today. There's absolutely fantastic version of Crazy Little Thing Called Love on Mozart's "Live at Wembley" DVD. Very short samples from his vocals are digitally pasted together, and manipulated to be of the right frequencies. Yury2 wrote: What are you talking about? ThomasQuinn, the almighty got it wrong? *gasp*Īnyway, I think Elvis wrote the song or someone else before., but Freddie just sang it on his manner. To the best of my knowledge, he never got further than the odd lyric here and there. Rick wrote: ThomasQuinn wrote: 1) Elvis never wrote songs he couldn't. What are you talking about? So, who is an author of the song?ģ) The song you refer to was artificially created after the death of said singer In "The game" album is written, that author of the song in Mercury. Elvis died in 1977, so it's clear, that he wrote the song before that time. What do you think I have found there? I was quite amused, but there was a "Crazy little thing called love" in the song list. I bought an album recently "The very best of Elvis Presley". Who wrote Crazy little thing called love? Freddie or Elvis? yury2
